Bridge Engineers – Mid to Senior Level

Are you a Bridge Engineer ready to tackle impactful infrastructure projects across North Carolina? We’re supporting a nationally recognized A&E firm in growing its Raleigh-based structural team, and they’re looking to hire both Mid-Level (10+ yrs) and Senior-Level (16+ yrs) engineers to support NCDOT bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspections.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and documentation for bridge structures, retaining walls, culverts, sound barriers
• Preparation of construction documents, specs, estimates, and technical reports
• NBIS bridge inspections, condition reports, and load ratings
• Use of MicroStation, OpenBridge, and other bridge design software
• Support for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects
• Construction support including shop drawing reviews
• Mentorship, project planning, and team collaboration
• Direct client interaction and proposal development

What You’ll Bring

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program
• P.E. license in NC (or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months)
• 10+ years of experience for mid-level / 16+ years for senior-level
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO and NCDOT policies and procedures
• NBIS certification + NHI-130055 is a strong plus
• Ability to manage project budgets, scopes, and schedules
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed
