Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Bridge Engineer for a full-time role to design and analyze bridges and prepare plans in line with AASHTO and INDOT standards.

You will join the Indiana Transportation Team delivering projects for INDOT and local governments with regional work in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. This position emphasizes mentorship of junior engineers, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and growth within a firm established in 1958.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana.
• 4+ years of engineering or technical experience.
• Experience with INDOT standards, specifications, and deliverables for federally funded projects.
• Bridge project experience for local municipalities and counties.
• Bridge design software experience (LEAP Concrete, MDX, Midas, or AASHTOWare).

What You Will Do

Location and Travel

Indiana-based, with occasional client meetings and construction site visits. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay

$80,000 to $90,000 per year.
