Job summary

H&H is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Milwaukee, WI team. The role focuses on design and inspection of transportation infrastructure within the region and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary group.

Responsibilities include creating plans and estimates, performing beam and reinforced concrete/steel design, and conducting field inspections. Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of experience, a WI PE license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil/Structural Eng required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• WI PE license or ability to obtain license in WI.
• Experience with major structural analysis software.
• Familiarity with bridge inspection and WisDOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract plans, provisions, and engineer’s estimates.
• Perform structural design calculations and modeling.
• Conduct load ratings on bridges and structures.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and coordinate with the design team.
• Assist with field inspections and condition assessments.
• Research design options and codes; discuss with PM.
