Job summary

Lochmueller Group in Missouri is seeking a Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead DOT and local agency bridge projects. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Professional Engineer with 8+ years of structural experience and a track record in bridge design and project leadership.

You will coordinate design and construction documents, manage scopes and budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, durable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification required or clearly in progress.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience with emphasis on bridge design.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating design and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a project engineer and/or project manager on DOT/local bridge projects.
• Lead preparation of complete design and construction documents for bridges.
• Plan and coordinate engineering work and budgets.
• Provide bridge inspection services and technical advisory support.
• Assist with proposals, funding applications, and project scopes.
• Collaborate with management and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance in deliverables.
• Manage schedules, resources, and client communications.
• May engage in other related responsibilities as needed.
