Job summary

H&H in Reston, VA is seeking a Project Manager to grow our Bridge Design Team and support clients across the Commonwealth. You will help pursue opportunities and guide a design team to deliver quality projects on time and on budget.

You will maintain regular communication with Client Project Managers to secure resources and ensure successful project execution, while mentoring junior staff and adhering to project controls and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth.
• Experience with CAD, modeling, and analysis software.
• Knowledge of VDOT plans, road and bridge standards.
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to train and mentor entry-level staff.

Responsibilities

• Market services to current and prospective clients.
• Assist in expressions of interest and technical presentations.
• Oversee engineering designs including calculations, models, details, and estimates.
• Review reports, workload projections, and align team focus.
• Produce project requirements to meet contractual obligations.
• Coordinate plans and specifications among multi-discipline teams.
• Quality review deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
