Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking an Engineer to function as a technical leader responsible for planning, design, and quality assurance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a PE license and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include project management, conducting QA/QC reviews, and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD is preferred. This position is located in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' job-related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent planning and design tasks.
• Conduct initial QA/QC reviews of project submissions.
• Develop and manage design budgets for routine scopes of work.
• Provide guidance and training to engineering associates and interns.

Skills

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads

Proficient in Hydrolic and Hydraulic Software Packages

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
