Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an engineer to produce and modify bridge design calculations, technical reports, and plans for diverse projects. You will collaborate with the project manager to research, develop, and deliver design work using current tools and software.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, delivering disciplined project elements, and contributing to successful project execution for HNTB’s clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design methods and standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assist in the development of project specifications.
• Develop discipline-specific engineering elements including reports, designs, and plans.
• Aids in coordination and productivity of project team members.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced staff.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs quality control reviews of engineering deliverables.
• Assists with scheduling and distribution of work within discipline.
