Job summary

HNTB is seeking a design-focused engineer to contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects. The role involves producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans in collaboration with project teams.

You will develop conceptual and detailed designs, perform calculations, and support project execution using current drawing and technical tools. North Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC are listed locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Develops design calculations and technical reports as part of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Prepares and/or modifies portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Self-sufficiently completes research, data collection, field investigations, and design tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
