Job summary

Sessler Wrecking is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead bridge demolition projects across the United States. Join a long-standing demolition contractor with 67 years of experience, coordinating resourcing, scheduling, and budgets to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Role requires travel to project sites, collaboration with owners, directors, PMs, clients, subs, and vendors, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Understanding of construction management systems including change orders, job costing/forecasting, budgeting, purchasing/estimating, and labor management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, inspection reports, contracts, regulations, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain calendars and databases.
• Travel will be required to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Understand and efficiently navigate resourcing, scheduling, and financial requirements of a Project while coordinating with Sessler Ownership, Directors, Project Managers, Clients, Subcontractors, and Vendors.
• Ensure overall safety of the construction project with support from Health & Safety Directors and Safety Compliance Managers.
• Manage project-specific field personnel from entry to senior levels, including operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in management brainstorms to improve project outcomes.
• Prioritize demolition phases and tasks, and problem-solve when issues arise.
• Implement work objectives within budget constraints and ensure quality standards are met.
