Job summary

Zenith Tech, a Walbec Group Company, is seeking a Bridge Construction Pile Driver Foreman to lead and supervise crews on heavy road and bridge projects. You will coordinate activities, ensure proper training and tools, and report materials, equipment, and hours accurately while upholding safety standards.

The primary project location is Hannibal, MO, with travel to other sites as needed. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be punctual and dependable, and be willing to join the

• Must be punctual and dependable and able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Union membership or willingness to join is required; HR can assist.
• Prior bridge/construction experience.
• Experience with pile driving equipment and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise activities of one or more crews for construction projects.
• Assign crews to duties with required training and tools.
• Assess the most efficient way to complete work while maintaining safety and quality.
• Accurate reporting of materials, equipment, and hours by the foreman.

The Position:

We're looking for a Foreman with a background in Bridge Construction Piledriving responsible for the accurate reporting of materials, equipment, hours, as well as the management and safety of the personnel on his/her crew and the safety of the public and ensuring regulatory measures are maintained.

• Coordinating and supervising activities of one or more crews for construction of a project.
• Allotting crews to their respective duties and ensuring they have the appropriate training and tools so they can execute their jobs accurately.
• Assessing the most efficient way to complete a job without sacrificing safety or quality.

The Location:

• Projects will vary by location, so reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to any job site is required as needed.
• The primary focus of this project is located in Hannibal, MO. (Northeast Missouri).

The Candidate:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of a Local Carpenters/Piledriver Union, or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is available to assist in that process as needed.
• Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience.
• General knowledge of templates, pile driving equipment, rigging and signaling, cutting torches, welding, and drilling.
• Experienced in the installation of all sizes and dimensions of piles, on or near the water, including pipe pile, H pile, and sheet piles.
