The Position

The Field Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling components related to bridge construction and other duties as assigned by the Foreman or management.

• This role requires travel throughout Wisconsin and possibly neighboring states such as Minnesota and Michigan

Candidate Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• High School diploma or GED
• Punctuality and dependability
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
• Ability to tolerate variable weather conditions and work in dusty environments
• Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions
• Membership or willingness to join a Local Laborer Union (not required before employment)
• State certification in D1.1/D1.5 or ability to obtain it
• At least 2 years of bridge construction or steel fabrication experience
