Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is hiring a Carpenter to construct and assemble concrete forming systems for concrete structures. You will read blueprints, interpret layouts, and build scaffolding and formwork while prioritizing safety and efficiency on high-profile projects.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of bridge-related experience, familiarity with form systems, and knowledge of concrete pumps and finishing. Local travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bridge work.
• Read and interpret blueprints; assemble/disassemble heavy form systems.
• Experience with concrete pumps, placement/finishing, and rebar installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Safety policies and procedures.
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework.
• Interprets blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Operate and maintain power equipment as required.
• Follow safety policies and ensure proper scaffolding at job sites.
• Secure and store tools and materials at day’s end.
