Mission

Reeves Construction Company is seeking a Bridge Carpenter based in Greenwood, SC.

Main Responsibilities

1. Perform physical labor, including tasks like shoveling dirt, sand, asphalt, or concrete, and using tools such as ditch blades, chain saws, or power weed trimmers.
2. Handle, stack, and move formwork and materials; keep the jobsite clean and organized.
3. Assist with shoveling, raking, demolition, concrete placements, traffic control, and prefabrication tasks.
4. Work safely following company policies.
5. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years of experience in bridge construction or similar fields.
2. Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
3. Driving license preferred.

Physical Demands

The role requires physical activity including lifting up to 60 pounds, standing, walking, and other physical tasks, with good vision and hearing.

Work Environment

Exposure to mechanical parts, weather, fumes, noise, and other conditions typical of construction sites, with accommodations available for disabilities.
