Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) seeks an experienced Bridge Carpenter to support bridge and structural concrete construction projects in Springdale, AR. The role includes forming, pouring, finishing, stripping, and general labor duties on heavy civil sites outdoors.

Ideal candidates will have bridge construction and form carpentry experience, ability to read blueprints, and a strong focus on safety and quality while working with a crew to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in bridge construction and concrete form carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong safety practices and effective team communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete forms for decks, walls, columns, caps, footings and other structures.
• Perform general carpentry tasks related to bridge and concrete work.
• Read blueprints and determine scope of work from drawings.
• Measure and cut materials to required sizes and shapes.
• Maintain safety, quality, and on-time project progress on site.
• Coordinate with crew and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.
• Other duties as assigned.
