Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Bridge CAD/BIM Designer in the United States, Missouri, St. Louis.

You will contribute to the Bridge Group, drafting and modeling in 2D and some 3D, under the guidance of a Bridge Engineer and Engineering staff. Your role supports the discipline model, content, and digital delivery output for transportation projects. You will draft accurate drawings, maintain model data, and prepare detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• 3D design software proficiency and document management infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work for the Bridge Group under supervision of a Bridge Engineer or other professional.
• 2D bridge plan emphasis in MicroStation with some 3D work.
• Assist in development of the discipline model with Digital Design or Engineering staff.
• Assist with creation of discipline model, systems, content and digital delivery output.
• Draft and model elements accurately in current software with correct constraints.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and diagrams using current software.
• Maintain the discipline model with project info, coordinates, scales, orientations, and sheets.
• Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on modeling output.
