Job summary

Advantage Steel Fabrication in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a full-time Welder to join our team. You will weld, cut, and grind materials, read blueprints, and operate forklifts and cranes in a heavy manufacturing setting.

This entry to mid-level position offers growth in fabrication skills within a team-oriented environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with potential for extended hours to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years welding or fabrication experience required.
• Ability to work in a code-driven welding environment.
• Experience with plasma cutting or torch cutting steel.
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and weld symbols preferred.
• Willingness to learn additional fabrication equipment (saws, CNC drilling, press brake).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and grinding on various metal components.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and weld symbols.
• Maintain quality standards that meet or exceed expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
