Job Title: Bridal Stylist (Sales Associate)

Reports To: Customer Experience Manager

Location: Onsite at Something New: Bridal & Formalwear in Colorado Springs, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time (4-Day Work Week)

Schedule: Weekends Required — Choose from either Thursday–Sunday or Saturday–Tuesday

Pay: Hourly + Commission

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a sales-driven role. As a Bridal Stylist, you'll guide customers through the exciting and emotional process of selecting formalwear for their big day or special event. Your job is to create a memorable shopping experience that results in confident, satisfied customers — and strong sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personalized sales consultations to brides, grooms, bridal parties, prom-goers, and other formalwear customers.
• Match customers with the right attire based on their needs, style, timeline, and budget.
• Create a warm, celebratory atmosphere that enhances the shopping experience for both the customer and their guests.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Take accurate measurements, process payments, and manage appointment scheduling.
• Maintain the showroom: steaming garments, restocking, and light cleaning duties.
• Represent the Boutique at bridal shows in the Front Range area.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENT:

We operate on a 4-day full-time work week with mandatory weekend availability. You must be available to work one of the following shifts:

• Thursday through Sunday, or
• Saturday through Tuesday

Weekend shifts are non-negotiable. Most customer traffic and sales opportunities occur on weekends, and your presence is vital to the success of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor's in Communications or related field is a plus.
• At least 1 year of sales experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of or interest in formalwear, especially wedding attire.
• High energy, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for customer service.
• Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

• Occasional local errands (e.g., bank deposits, dry cleaning drop-offs).
