Job summary

Pine Hall Brick Company Inc. is seeking a Making Line Technician to support the brick production line from the reclaimer to the slug cutter.

You will collaborate with sand/slurry prep and setting machine operators to maintain line flow and ensure brick quality for the kiln car, communicating size, coatings, and texture needs. Responsibilities include trimming brick to size, changing trimming wires, monitoring material feeds, and performing line changeovers accurately.

Qualifications

• Able to trim brick to size and change trimming wires.
• Maintain brick size and color per recipe.
• Monitor material feeds and line readiness.
• Perform line changeovers accurately and timely.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Perform PM and ensure equipment operates properly.
• Assist maintenance during breakdowns.
• Read tape measure and scales (standard/metric).
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Able to multitask and meet standards.
• Participate in department housekeeping and teamwork.
