Job summary

Glen-Gery Corporation, a leading brick manufacturer with eight plants and national distribution, is seeking a laborer to perform a variety of physical tasks in our facilities. The role involves building orders, loading and unloading, staging materials, and ensuring safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, operating a forklift, following OSHA rules, and maintaining tidy work areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in a manual environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Build orders based on customer requests, ensuring materials and quantities are correct.
• Provide service to customers by retrieving and loading product, answering questions, and displaying proper attitude.
• Staging materials and supplies to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Unload semi and preparing outgoing orders; put away inventory.
• Set-up and clean-up of the work area each day.
• Follow OSHA rules and regulations.
