Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Silvis, IL is hiring a Part-time Brewista to join our coffee stand. You will welcome customers, take orders, prepare drinks, handle payments, and keep the stand stocked and clean.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings and late nights, weekends, and holidays. You will work in person, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and deliver friendly, uplifting customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
• Can work carefully and quickly around hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
• Can work outside for prolonged periods in varying weather conditions
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can work on their feet for extended periods
• Can climb and safely use a ladder or stepladder
• Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean the stand

Responsibilities

• Can converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and correctly key them into our point-of-sale system
• Can collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer
• Can prepare all drinks and premixes
• Must always move with urgency, on the customer’s time
• Stays productive and proactive throughout the shift
• Manners: apologizing if needed and maintaining friendly interactions with customers and teammates
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation regulations
• Takes correct shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores

Position Type: Part-Time

A Brewista treats every interaction with others as an opportunity to build them up—whether they are our customers, teammates, or vendors. A Brewista makes delicious drinks, takes orders, loves on our customers, cleans, and stocks during every shift.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Starting base wage: $11.00 per hour + tips
• Expected total earnings: approximately $15.00–$22.00+ per hour, including tips
• Tips vary based on customer tipping and hours worked
• Illinois paid leave provided in accordance with applicable law

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Can converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and correctly key them into our point-of-sale system
• Can collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer
• Can prepare all drinks and premixes
• Must always move with urgency, on the customer’s time
• Stays productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, even when business is slow
• Makes personal connections with customers every day through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and open and positive body language
• Knows our menu and drink customizations inside and out; notices if a customer may not be ordering what they truly want and can help the customer identify and correctly order their desired drink, offering suggestions and recommendations when appropriate
• Brings their best self to work every day through good hygiene, clean clothing, and appropriate grooming and dress for their assigned position
• Is familiar with our shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores
• Is clocked in and ready to work at their assigned position when their shift begins
• Treats teammates and customers with respect and kindness
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations

Qualifications: WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Works a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings (5:00 a.m.) and late nights (11:30 p.m.)
• Follows company procedures for communicating time-off requests
• Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays as needed
