Job summary

Paycom - ATS is hiring a part-time Brewista for our Watertown, SD stand. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare drinks, and maintain a fast, friendly service flow.

You must be comfortable working outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods. Training is provided; tips supplement hourly pay in a team-friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Creates and maintains genuine, uplifting interactions with customers and teammates.
• Handles hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products with care and speed.
• Works outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Can climb ladders and use stepladders safely.
• Stocking and cleaning in the stand with mobility.
• Safely walks around drive-thru lines and uses a utility knife when needed.

Responsibilities

• Converse with customers to confirm drink orders and enter them into the POS.
• Collect payments and give correct change.
• Prepare drinks and premixes for service.
• Move quickly and maintain urgency for customers’ time.
• Build personal connections with customers through warm, genuine interactions.
• Know the menu and assist customers with order selections and upsells.
• Present yourself with good hygiene and appropriate dress for the role.
• Follow shift changes, checklists, and weekly chores.
• Clock in on time and report to the shift lead and stand management.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following sanitation standards.

Job Details: Job Location: WATERTOWN 1282 - Watertown, SD 57201, Salary Range: $11.85 - $22.00 Hourly, Our mission is to “Inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience,” and the Brewistas of our Brew Crew are the valuable individuals that execute that mission every day. Brewistas report to their stand management team and the shift leader(s) on their shift.

A Brewista treats every interaction with others as an opportunity to build them up – whether they be our customers, teammates, or vendors. A Brewista makes delicious drinks, takes orders, loves on our customers, cleans, and stocks during every shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Can converse with customers to confirm their drink orders, and correctly keys them into our point-of-sale system
• Can collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer
• Can prepare all drinks and premixes
• Must always move with urgency, on the customer’s time
• Stays productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, even when business is slow
• Makes personal connections with customers every day through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and open and positive body language
• Knows our menu and drink customizations inside and out; notices if a customer may not be ordering what they truly want and will be able to help the customer identify and correctly order their desired drink, offers suggestions and recommendations when appropriate
• Brings their best self to work every day (good hygiene, plenty of sleep, clean clothes, kept hair/makeup). Dresses appropriately for their assigned positions
• Is familiar with our shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores.
• Always clocked in and ready to work at their assigned position when their shift begins
• Treats teammates and customers with respect and kindness
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations

Qualifications: WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Works a flexible schedule, which can include early mornings (5 a.m.) and late nights (11:30 p.m.)
• Follows company procedure for communicating time off requests
• Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays, if necessary

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
• Can work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
• Can work outside for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
• Can lift up to 50lbs
• Can work on their feet for hours at a time
• Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
• Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand
• Can safely walk in between and around cars in the drive thru line
• Can safely use a utility knife
