Job summary

Asahi Beer USA / Octopi Brewing in Wisconsin is seeking a Brewhouse Brewer (hot side) to operate brewhouse piping and equipment, perform CIP, and ensure precise, efficient production from raw materials to finished wort. You’ll own yeast propagation, maintain logs, and support quality checks while growing through our Brewer Career Matrix.

Full-time, on-site shifts available. Compensation starts at $22/hour with tiered pay up to $34/hour, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k),

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 55 lbs / move 165 lbs as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn, understand, and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment.
• Execute efficient brewing operations from raw material intake to finished wort.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our brewhouse keeps the entire brewing process moving — turning raw ingredients into finished wort that feeds every batch downstream. We're looking for a Brewhouse Brewer to help keep that process precise, efficient, and in spec.

What You'll Do

• Learn, understand, and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment

Must-haves

WHAT YOU BRING

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting
• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks

Nice-to-haves

• 2–3 years of experience in a brewing environment
• Degree in Brewing Science/Technology

PAY BY SHIFT

Pay starts at $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr based on experience, with growth up to $34.00/hr through our tiered Brewer Career Matrix — whether you build that experience here or bring it with you, already brewed. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.

• 1st Shift — $22.00/hr (minimal base rate)
• 2nd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $25.00/hr (minimal total rate)
• 3rd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $26.00/hr (minimal total rate)
• Weekend Day — $22.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $27.75/hr (minimal total rate)
• Weekend Night — $22.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $29.75/hr (minimal total rate)
