Job summary

Uinta Brewing is seeking a Brewery Packaging Sanitation Technician & Line Operator in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on daily CIP sanitation of canning, kegging, and packaging lines, ensuring GMPs and food safety standards are met, and maintaining equipment readiness for production.

Ideal candidates will handle material staging, act as a relief line operator as needed, and uphold safety and quality throughout shifts. Requires forklift experience and Excel data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ required.
• Experience in beverage packaging or high-speed food manufacturing a plus.
• Understanding of pressurized systems and automated production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-Place (COP) sanitation on packaging equipment.
• Lead material staging for morning startup and serve as relief packaging line operator during peak demand.
• Stage packaging materials and perform line changeovers for upcoming production runs.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, chemical safety and food safety standards; report issues promptly.
