FWCS is seeking a Student Interventionist to provide tailored academic and emotional support to students. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Indiana teaching license, several years of teaching experience, and a commitment to professional learning. Benefits include health insurance, a public pension, and paid time off. This role is critical to ensuring all students achieve high standards as defined by Indiana's educational expectations.
PURPOSE
Provide personalized academic, social, emotional, and developmental supports and services necessary to educate all students to high standards. Ensure that all students meet the Indiana College and Career Ready Standards as identified by federal, state, and district regulations; and in alignment with FWCS/FWEA Master Contract.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Internal Applicants: Only current Student Interventionist or candidates who have went throughthe SI Professional Learning Community and have been approved for the talent pool may apply.
External Applicants: External candidates will be considered for this position if they have similar prior experience, certification and agree to participate in required professional learning sessions prior to the start of the school year and continuing through the school year.
All Applicants:
Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas. REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options:
Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requires teachers who teach retained grade 3 students to have at least 25 hours of approved Science of Reading training to start the 25-26 school year. Please upload proof you meet this requirement as an attachment to your application. This includes any Grade 3, ELL, Interventionist or Special Education Teacher that may work with retained grade 3 students.
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience with highly effective or effective evaluation rating. Must possess knowledge of and ability to implement effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques. Must be able to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support students academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom setting.
