Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Breast Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-frequency ultrasound imaging to detect breast abnormalities. The role requires ARDMS certification, breast imaging proficiency, and strong patient communication.

This position includes responsibilities such as assisting Radiologists, preparing patients and specimens, and maintaining imaging records. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits; shifts include day/evening with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School and ARDMS registered.
• Breast certification or eligibility required within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures per departmental format with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist Radiologist with biopsy studies and color-flow ultrasound as needed.
• Maintain patient prep, positioning, and imaging labeling per protocol.
• Ensure equipment maintenance, sterilization, and supply stocking.
