This is a rare opportunity to lead Maine’s second-largest urban population’s breast cancer care within a robust referral network, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered, collaborative treatment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO is required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maine.
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary breast surgical oncologist for a large regional service area.
• Join a newly constructed, state-of-the-art cancer center.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team.
• Develop a high-volume breast cancer program.
• Manage a substantial referral network with a broad catchment area.
