McLeod Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Breast Surgery team at McLeod Breast Surgery Seacoast. This role emphasizes outpatient care, survivorship management, and collaboration with the supervising physician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position offers mentorship through shadowing and a structured onboarding program within a specialized breast surgery practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years surgical or oncology-related experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication and care coordination skills.
• New graduates may be considered with significant prior clinical exposure in surgery/oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Breast Surgery care including visits, postoperative follow-up, survivorship management, and high-risk assessments.
• Collaborate with supervising physician to support diagnosis, treatment planning, recovery, and long-term follow-up.
• Manage benign breast conditions, high-risk patients, cancer survivorship care, and postoperative surgical patients.
