Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Colorado's largest cancer care network seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Breast Surgery Clinic. You will work closely with surgeons and APPs to deliver excellent patient care throughout the surgical journey in a busy, team‑oriented environment.

This role requires travel between the Louisville and Longmont offices to support operations. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, a Graduation certificate for Medical Assistants, at least two

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required.
• Minimum two years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
• Records patient data prior to visits, including vital signs, height/weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtains necessary patient records and verifies consent prior to treatment or procedures.
• Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies as needed.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Assists with patient education and distributes educational literature.
• Obtains blood specimens as needed and follows OSHA precautions.
• Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as required.
• Maintains exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Processes instruments and equipment as needed.
• Answers patient calls for referrals and phones in prescriptions as directed.
• Schedules tests, procedures, hospital admissions and follow-ups.
• Obtains new patient records and prior test results.
