Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a fellowship trained breast surgeon to join its oncology team. The ideal candidate is board certified in general surgery and has completed a breast surgery fellowship.

Responsibilities include performing mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies and port placements for chemotherapy within a comprehensive breast program. Georgia's dynamic healthcare system at Piedmont offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with Epic EMR and strong physician

Qualifications

• Board-certified in general surgery.
• Completed a fellowship in breast surgery.
• Experience with mastectomies, lumpectomies and related breast procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast surgeries including mastectomies and lumpectomies.
• Place ports for chemotherapy and perform related breast procedures.
• Collaborate with oncology and surgical teams within Piedmont.

Surgical procedures include mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy along with other breast surgery general procedures.
