Job summary

Intermountain Health is looking for a Physician in Breast Surgical Oncology to join their team in Murray, Utah. About this role:

As a Physician in Breast Surgical Oncology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will join a growing breast surgery division with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a service‑oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County. The ideal candidate will be passionate about breast surgery, collaborative in nature, and committed to advancing breast cancer care in our community.

  • You’ll practice at Intermountain Medical Center
  • You’ll have at least two dedicated block days of surgery and two clinic days per week
  • You’ll provide exclusive breast surgery care with no general surgery or ER call expectations
  • You may need to cover call for your own patients
  • You’ll participate in tumor boards and specialty breast cancer meetings

What you’ll bring:
  • Fellowship‑training in Breast Surgical Oncology required
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and/or Breast Surgical Oncology
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
