Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Breast Surgeon to join a well-established, comprehensive breast health program in Georgia. This role emphasizes cancer care with minimally invasive techniques, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to compassionate patient-centered care.

The selected candidate will be a key team member in Wellstar’s Comprehensive Breast Health Program, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent ambulatory and inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible with Georgia Medical License.
• Experience in ultrasound, ultrasound biopsy, and stereo biopsy.
• Proficient in benign and malignant breast surgery including oncoplasty.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent patient care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Perform mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and infusion port placement.
• Document clinical notes in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Occasionally educate residents and medical students.
• Provide appropriate call coverage; no general surgery or ER call.
• Nurse practitioners take first call.
• Perform intraoperative radiation and Cyberknife; read breast ultrasounds.
• In-office sonographers are part of our team.
