Job summary

cCARE, part of Navista within Cardinal Health, seeks a Breast Radiologist in Fresno/Clovis, CA. The role focuses on 100% outpatient breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound and MRI, with no weekends, evenings, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Board eligibility or certification in ABR/AOBR is required or pending. California licensure is required or eligible while MQSA standards must be maintained. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in breast imaging per ABR/AOBR.
• Fellowship in Breast/Mammography preferred but not required.
• Continued MQSA compliance and education.
• Current California licensure or eligible to obtain it.
• Proficiency in mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI-guided procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary breast care team to tailor treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret mammography, ultrasound and MRI studies.
• Provide accurate diagnoses using advanced imaging biopsy techniques and localization.
• Participate in high-risk breast cancer screening programs.
• Provide compassionate patient consultations and explanations.
• Coordinate with staff and leadership to deliver patient-centered care.

• Exceptional Compensation: Anticipated salary range of $700,000 - $800,000 per year. The salary range listed is an estimate and is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Major Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and work closely with breast surgeons to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with breast abnormalities.
• Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging studies including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnoses of breast conditions and diseases using advanced imaging biopsy techniques (stereotactic, ultrasound (US), and MRI) and perform localization procedures.
• Participate in high-risk screening program(s).
• Offer real-time consultations to patients, ensuring a compassionate and informative experience.
• Collaborate with technical, administrative staff, and medical leadership to deliver high-quality, comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
• Breast/Mammography fellowship is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated continuing experience and medical education credits meeting MQSA requirements.
• Current or eligible for licensure in the state of California.
• Proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast-related procedures such as breast ultrasound biopsies, localization procedures, and stereotactic biopsies.
• A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
