Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon at the Assistant Professor level to lead an expanding oncoplastic program and contribute to robotic mastectomy efforts. The role combines advanced clinical care with academic activities across basic, translational, and clinical research.

You will collaborate with medical, radiation, pathology and reconstructive teams, mentor fellows and residents, and develop multidisciplinary treatment

Qualifications

• MD/DO with medical license in New York.
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency.
• Specialized fellowship training in Surgical Oncology or Breast Oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant breast disease as part of a multidisciplinary program.
• Perform breast surgical oncology procedures, including breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node procedures.
• Contribute to development of oncoplastic breast surgery and robotic mastectomy programs.
• Collaborate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, plastic and reconstructive surgery to optimize treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, and clinical research.

Medical Doctor degree

Fellowship in Surgical Oncology or Breast Oncology

Board certification/eligibility in General Surgery
