The Daiichi Sankyo Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is field-based and focused on building ongoing relationships with healthcare professionals to support medical and scientific initiatives across selected therapeutic areas, including oncology and cardiovascular disease.

This US position covers Upstate NY, VT, NH, ME, MA, CT and RI, requiring strong communication, medical education, and collaboration with Medical, Marketing, and Sales teams. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• PharmD, MD, PhD, NP or PA in a health sciences-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 1+ years’ experience in medical & scientific affairs, clinical practice, research, academic or US-managed markets preferred
• 5+ years’ experience for Principal/Associate Director MSL level, including medical & scientific affairs, clinical practice, research, academic or US managed markets preferred
• Oncology, clinical research and medical education experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%

Responsabilités

• Builds and maintains professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and engages with internal stakeholders to escalate scientific information
• Present disease state and product-specific data to HCPs
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information
• Identify and facilitate engagement of investigators, speakers, and advisors for clinical programs
• Gather customer insights to inform medical and commercial decision-making
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences for continuing education and scientific exchange
• Develop positive working relationships with local and regional internal stakeholders
• Implement field strategy in geography aligned with Medical and Brand strategies
• Complete monthly expense reporting and field activity reporting
• Represent the Medical Science Liaison function at meetings, functions and events

Formation

Health sciences degree (PharmD/MD/PhD/NP/PA)
