Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Supervisor for Advanced Practice Professionals in the Breast Oncology Department to oversee APPs and practice within MCC protocols. This role combines clinical supervision with direct patient care, under physician oversight, in a high‑volume oncology setting.

The ideal candidate holds Florida APRN/PA‑C licensure, with 2+ years of oncology APP experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Active BLS.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience as an oncology APP (PA-C or APRN) required.
• Minimum one (1) year's experience in specialty required.
• Compliant with the use of EHR systems and knowledge of APP scope of practice guidelines and medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, such as leading projects and serving on committees.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating and optimizing patient care.
• Correlates subjective and objective data to formulate a differential or working diagnosis.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications within scope of practice.
• Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
• Note: this position has dedicated administrative and supervisory duties and clinical admin time for prep, charting, patient follow-up, etc.
