Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) certifications within specified timeframes.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Illinois for radiography.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex breast imaging procedures and related invasive procedures per dept. protocols.
• Selects proper mammography protocols to obtain optimal data and reviews cases with radiologist.
• Reviews patient history for medical necessity and ensures accuracy of radiology orders.
• Maintains imaging equipment and safety, and supports training of students and staff.
