Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Troy, MI, seeks a Breast Imaging Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms and ultrasound exams, including image-guided procedures. You will manage equipment maintenance and ensure quality in daily operations.

Applicants must have graduation from a radiologic technology program, ARRT Mammography certification, ARDMS Breast or ARRT Breast Sonography, BCLS and pass primary source verification. Department discretion governs hybrid/remote work options.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT Diagnostic Mammography (M) certification and ARDMS Breast (BR) certification.
• ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) certification accepted.
• Certification in BCLS.
• Primary Source Verification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical assessment, breast mammogram and/or sonography examinations with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates mammography and/or sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to patient information and images.
• Demonstrates independent judgment to acquire the optimum breast imaging information in each examination performed.
