Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform breast and bone density imaging under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. You will ensure patient comfort, accuracy of imaging, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include executing Breast and Bone Density imaging with ALARA, evaluating image quality, post-processing, and proper patient identification. You will assist Radiologists with procedures, maintain equipment, and uphold institutional

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certifications including ARRT-M Mammography, ARRT-R Radiography, and BLS or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of diagnostic radiography experience or 1 year in breast imaging preferred.
• Strong communication, patient service skills, and ability to operate radiographic and breast imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Executing Breast and Bone Density imaging while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Evaluating image quality, performing post-processing, and ensuring accurate patient identification.
• Providing compassionate patient care, ensuring safety, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Assisting Radiologists with procedures and maintaining compliance with institutional policies.
