The role supervises staff, coordinates Breast Imaging workflows, and ensures equipment safety. ARRT certification and a state license are required, with 1–2 years of Radiology Tech experience and a JRCERT-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology Technology required.
• Completion of an radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required).

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images using imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain procedures, position patients, ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and results.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Provide exceptional patient care and address concerns with empathy.
