Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist for weekly per diem coverage at UNC Health Johnston locations in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. The role focuses on diagnostic mammography interpretation and image-guided breast procedures.

Ideal candidates hold Fellowship in Breast Imaging or substantial breast imaging experience, and are eligible for NC licensure. Monday–Friday dayshift, onsite with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred; equivalent focused breast imaging experience will be considered.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of diagnostic mammography studies.
• Performance of image-guided breast procedures, including breast biopsies.
