Job summary

Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Indianapolis, seeks a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a large academic practice with hybrid duties across an academic breast center and community breast centers.

The role offers collaboration with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and genetic counselors in a top-tier academic health environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or significant clinical experience in breast imaging.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Indiana.
• Willingness to teach and mentor medical students, residents and breast imaging fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical interpretation of diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds and breast MRI.
• Perform image-guided breast biopsies and localization procedures.
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists and others; participate in conferences and education.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents and breast imaging fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement and faculty development aligned with clinical, education, research and culture missions.
• Contribute to educational initiatives across the department and Academic Health Center.
