Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is a comprehensive solution for in-office Mammography services. We utilize top-of-the-line equipment and expert staff with exceptional standards of care. Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Breast Imaging Practice Performance Partner.

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Growth and Business Development, the Breast ImagingPractice Performance Partner plays a critical role in optimizing the performance of Unified Breast Imaging Services and its affiliated care centers. This individual must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal disruption to operations. A strategic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams and multiple levels of leadership. As the primary liaison between Unified Breast Imaging Services and partner practices, the Breast Imaging Practice Performance Partner is instrumental in driving financial performance. By leveraging data reporting, analytics, and change management techniques, this individual identifies operational inefficiencies and partners with care center managers, operations teams, and providers to implement sustainable improvements. A key focus of this role is managing and optimizing schedule capacity to ensure each care center is operating at its highest potential. Proactively identifying opportunities to improve scheduling practices is essential to maximizing resource utilization, enhancing patient access, and supporting overall growth. Additionally, this individual acts as an educator for the breast imaging program, educating internal market teams such as Practice Performance Partners and Clinical Performance Partners. They ensure these team members are well-versed in breast imaging with the best practices and service offerings, as well as financial and volume objectives, while promoting marketing strategies that drive high-quality, growth, and efficient care delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Educate and train care center staff on effective and efficient use of Mammography services through a combination of data analysis, active communication and performance improvement strategies.
  • Support increased utilization of Mammography through workflow review.
  • Promote increased utilization of on-site breast imaging services and/or work with Unified Mammography team to identify opportunities for new or expansion of services.
  • Experience in practice liaison and healthcare sales, with strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • The ability to educate and support care center teams on breast imaging workflows, best practices, and performance improvement strategies

Additional Job Functions:

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and care center staff to ensure alignment with growth strategies and performance objectives. Communicate clearly to foster engagement, build trust, and gain buy-in for key initiatives.
  • Conduct in-person meetings with care center administrators and providers as needed, supplemented by regular remote meetings to maintain consistent communication and support.
  • Support care centers and operational teams in identifying both clinical and non-clinical factors impacting performance outcomes, offering actionable insights and providing education to help cultivate buy-in to the breast imaging program with physicians and practice administrators.
  • Provided targeted education to Practice Performance Partners and Clinical Performance Partners on mammography offerings and resources, delivering actionable insights to drive performance outcomes, increase volumes, and strengthen engagement in the breast imaging program.
  • Partner with operations leadership and Practice Performance Partners and Clinical Performance Partners to effectively communicate financial and volume targets to practice administrators and physicians, ensuring transparency and shared accountability.
  • Actively participate in Unified staff meetings, operational reviews, and collaborative planning sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong language and reasoning skills required
  • Minimum 1 year healthcare experience with knowledge of patient care management, physician practice operations, managed care, and financials; women’s health experience a plus
