Job summary

Charlotte Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, assist radiologists, and deliver high-quality breast imaging. You will help with stereotactic imaging and biopsy procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT Mammography registration, BLS/CPR, and 3–5 years of diagnostic mammography experience, with a focus on accurate imaging and patient communication. Location is Huntersville, NC, with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Stereo imaging and biopsy experience.
• 3–5 years of diagnostic and screening mammography.
• ARRT Mammography registered; BLS and CPR required.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic and imaging equipment per protocols.
• Position patients and use immobilization as needed.
• Evaluate radiographs for quality and obtain additional images as needed.
• Assist radiologists with biopsy and stereotactic procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and document patient information.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Onboard and train new Mammography Technologist levels.
• Other duties as assigned.
