Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) in Boston invites applications for a full-time Breast Imager in the Breast Imaging Radiology Division. The successful candidate will focus on mammography at BID-Needham and Lexington locations, performing screening, diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI, needle localization and biopsy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston, MA, is seeking enthusiastic applicants for full-time positions in the Breast Imaging Radiology Division. The successful candidate will join our department of more than 80 faculty who serve the Medical Center’s main campus and a network of community hospitals and outpatient locations. As a member of Breast Imaging, the candidate will focus their efforts on mammography at BID-Needham our Lexington location. Candidates will perform a wide range of breast imaging studies and procedures including screening, diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI and needle localization, and biopsy. Positions available for weekday coverage only; no evenings or weekends are required. Highly competitive compensation package and benefits.

Job Requirements:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Fellowship training in breast imaging is required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communications skills a must

The Radiology Department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only freestanding adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer. This position will be a future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multi-specialist team at DFCI, once the BIDMC-DFCI collaboration is complete.
