Job summary

White Plains Hospital is seeking a Breast Imager to join our team. You will provide accurate assessments of breast conditions, perform and interpret mammograms, ultrasound scans, and other imaging modalities, and collaborate with breast surgeons and oncologists to guide personalized care.

Qualified candidates are Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologists with an active New York Medical License. The role emphasizes ongoing professional development and participation in multidisciplinary care

Salary: $425,000-$525,000

The listed salary range may vary based on specialty, experience, education, and other factors.

What you'll do as a Breast Imager:

• Provide accurate assessments of breast conditions, including identifying and characterising breast masses, calcifications, and other abnormalities.
• Perform and interpret mammograms, ultrasound scans, and other breast imaging modalities to detect and diagnose breast abnormalities.
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to develop and implement personalised treatment plans for patients with breast cancer or other breast-related conditions.
• Conduct image-guided breast procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, to obtain tissues samples for further evaluation and diagnosis.

Qualifications you'll need:

• Graduated from an accredited Medical School
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist
• An active New York Medical License
