Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon with a strong focus in Breast Surgery to join an established multispecialty surgical environment in Wellington, Florida. The incoming surgeon will lead a breast-focused practice while maintaining a general surgery component to suit interests and practice needs.

Qualifications

• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Have a strong interest and demonstrated experience in Breast Surgery
• Be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license

• Be comfortable managing benign and malignant breast disease

The Opportunity

The incoming surgeon will join an established surgical practice with experienced clinical and administrative infrastructure, strong referral relationships, and a collaborative physician environment.

The position offers the opportunity to develop a practice centered on breast surgery, while also maintaining a general surgery component based on the surgeon’s interests and the needs of the practice.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled, patient-centered surgeon with experience managing both benign and malignant breast disease. We are seeking a physician who values continuity of care, strong relationships with referring physicians, and long-term practice growth.

Candidate Profile

Qualified candidates should:

• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Have a strong interest and demonstrated experience in Breast Surgery
• Be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license

• Have a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Breast surgery experience is strongly preferred. Fellowship training in breast surgical oncology is welcomed but not required for the right candidate.
