Job Description

Location: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Breast Center

Schedule: PRN, As needed

Job Purpose: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ARDMS registered in at least 1 specialty.
• BLS certified.

Minimum Experience and Additional Qualifications

• None required, but 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired.
