Job summary

Montclair Breast Center in Montclair, NJ seeks a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive breast care services in collaboration with physicians and nurses. The role involves ambulatory care, taking histories, risk assessment, cancer screening, and patient education under established policies.

You will interpret breast imaging with radiologists, participate in genetic testing, perform routine office procedures, and support mastectomy-related care as first-assistant.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program and NJ license.
• CPR certification and DEA/CDS licensure required.
• Experience with breast care, imaging, genetics, and operative support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory care, take health histories, conduct risk assessments, and educate patients.
• Assess and manage breast conditions, coordinate with breast radiologists for imaging interpretation.
• Perform genetic testing per NCCN guidelines and counsel patients on results.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room for mastectomies and lumpectomies.
• Document care accurately and comply with legal and policy requirements.
