Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Newsroom experience
• Ability to work holidays, extra days, and longer hours with an on-call mentality
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when breaking news warrants
• Knowledge of AP style
• Experience with PhotoShop and video editing

Responsibilities

• Cover breaking news events, writing quickly and precisely to help solidify Fox News as the go-to site for breaking news
• Pitch and cover stories that resonate with FoxNews.com's audience, aggregating with complete and proper attribution
• Pursue original and exclusive stories through close contact with sources
• Conduct and edit original, on-camera video interviews
• Present all original, breaking, and aggregated stories in an accessible, consistent, and compelling style
• Collaborate closely with editors and fellow writers/reporters
