Gray Media’s KPHO/KTVK-TV in Phoenix seeks a News Video Editor to craft powerful stories for broadcast, digital, and social platforms. You’ll transform raw footage into narrative-driven segments with speed and precision.

You’ll edit daily news, investigations, and features, coordinate feeds, and partner with the Chief News Editor to keep archives and workflows efficient in a fast, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience editing for daily news, breaking news, and long-form features.
• Strong understanding of non-linear editing workflows and broadcast standards.
• Ability to manage multiple storylines and tight deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-impact video for daily news, investigations, and special projects across TV, web, and social.
• Manage video feeds from satellite, microwave, and backpacks to ensure air readiness.
• Collaborate with Chief News Editor to maintain content management and archive systems.
• Coordinate with control rooms and field crews to execute flawless live broadcasts.
